Strategic Growth Track ABOUT MERCER-EDWARDS, INC. Mercer-Edwards is a San Francisco–based private wealth management and venture capital firm, underpinned by deep technology expertise in AI, drone systems, and secure mobile platforms. From our headquarters in San Francisco to our European operations in London, we serve a discerning client base across finance and defense with bespoke strategies and uncompromising confidentiality. THE MISSION We are seeking an ultra-organized, discreet, and resilient Personal Assistant to serve as the right hand to the CEO. This is a full-time, high-tempo position based primarily at our London office in Canary Wharf, requiring frequent travel to our San Francisco headquarters to align with US operations. You will support a leader operating at the intersection of private wealth management, venture capital, and defense technology. You will begin as a dedicated PA, mastering the CEO's logistics, schedule, and private affairs to ensure maximum operational focus. As you gain trust and insight into the firm's strategic rhythm, this role is designed to evolve into an Executive Assistant (EA) position, acting as a gatekeeper and strategic proxy for the CEO and taking over UK operations. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Global Logistics Command: Manage complex, rapidly changing travel itineraries between London (Europe office) and San Francisco (HQ), including visas, private/commercial aviation, and secure accommodation. • Time Zone Mastery: Orchestrate a demanding diary across an 8-hour time difference (GMT/PST), ensuring the CEO prioritizes critical investor meetings, portfolio reviews, and defense summits without conflict. • Gatekeeping & Liaison: Act as the first point of contact for high-profile stakeholders, including limited partners, portfolio founders, defense contractors, banking executives, and technical partners. You must filter noise and prioritize critical intelligence. • Lifestyle Management: Handle personal administration with absolute confidentiality, allowing the CEO to remain entirely focused on the firm's growth and mission success. • Operational Discretion: You will be exposed to sensitive client information, deal flow, and strategic IP. Absolute discretion and adherence to security protocols are non-negotiable. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS • Experience: Proven experience as a PA/EA to C-suite executives, UHNW individuals, or senior diplomatic/military officials. • Flexibility: Willingness to travel to the US (San Francisco) on short notice and be available outside standard office hours to align with the US West Coast (not personal affairs or tasks). • Communication: Immaculate written and verbal English. You are capable of drafting correspondence that reflects the professionalism of a wealth management and defense-sector CEO. • The right mindset: A detail-oriented approach to problem-solving with the understanding that the Sun will rise tomorrow, no matter what we do. You must be an independent thinker and have the ability to remain calm, think for yourself, and be effective under pressure in a fast-moving environment. WHAT WE OFFER • Direct mentorship from the CEO and exposure to the highest levels of the wealth, investment, and defense industries. • A clear pathway to a senior position — EA, Project, or operational lead. • Competitive London salary with travel allowances and comprehensive benefits.
